ECORTIQ is a systems engineering studio in Bratislava. We are 34 engineers who design, build, and run the backends, platforms, and data systems that carry real production load. We keep the team small on purpose, so the people who make the decisions are the same ones carrying the pager.

These are not posters on a wall. They are the criteria we use when we argue about a design, decide what to ship, and choose what to say no to.
Own the outcome
We are accountable for the system running in production, not for delivering a deck and disappearing. If it pages at 3am, that is our problem too.
Boring by default
We reach for proven tools with a long operational track record, and we spend our novelty budget only where it clearly pays off.
Measure everything
Latency, error budgets, and cost are instrumented from day one, so claims about how a system behaves are backed by numbers you can check.
Leave it better
Every engagement ends with documented architecture, runbooks, and tests, so the next engineer (yours or ours) inherits a system they can reason about.
